The Silver Spring Folding Aluminum Wheelchair Access Ramp with Handrails, available in models SSFHR-06, SSFHR-07, SSFHR-08, SSFHR-10, and SSFHR-12, increases accessibility to entryways, patios or similar locations where steps pose a problem for individuals with limited mobility. Sold individually, this product features a compact design that ships folded to save you money and unfolds easily upon arrival for easy installation in your space.

Crafted from high-strength, lightweight aluminum with a 850 lbs. maximum capacity, the ramp has a weatherproof, slip-resistant extruded surface texture for years of maintenance-free use. The two-level handrails accommodate adults and children who walk by themselves or assisted, in addition to individuals in manual or electric wheelchairs or scooters. Pre-drilled holes allow for permanent installation, or the ramp can be placed without mounting where temporary access is needed.

Upon assembly, two braces reinforce the joint where the ramp was divided for extra strength, providing a smooth ground-to-ramp transition that is comfortable for those in scooters, wheelchairs, or walking. Each ramp comes with 2" side curbs to keep wheelchair and scooter wheels firmly inside the ramp width, as well as handrails to prevent accidents.
